Diet: Planktivorous; primarily feeds on zooplankton and small invertebrates.
Average Adult Size: 4-5 inches
Preferred Water Parameters: pH 8.0-9.0, Temperature 75-82°F
Minimum Tank Size: 55 gallons
Acceptable Tank Mates: Peaceful Tanganyikan cichlids and other non-aggressive species. They thrive in groups, so keep a school of at least six individuals. Provide ample swimming space and a few rocks or caves for hiding.
